Jeebh shows Bocca the first batch of 1,000 units of Dark Snacks that are produced by using Lango Mango's method of kidnapping. He doesn't seem to like it when the one who Bocca commends for the result is not him, but Lango Mango. Liselle is trying to take credit for herself and Jeebh for simply delivering the products. Jeebh's petty jealousy of Lango Mango being credited by Bocca makes him ask Liselle where Lango Mango's next targets are, which means that Jeebh is planning to sabotage Lango Mango's next plan.
A news announcer says on TV that people disappeared today at Chizuru International Airport while the footage shows the interior of the same plane in episode 35 last week where Lango Mango kidnapped all the passengers, which means that the plane where Lango Mango executed his plan in episode 35 was parked at Chizuru International Airport. So yeah, like I elaborated last week in my 1st post in episode 35 thread
here
, that event happened at an international airport, yet there was no one on the ground at all! Let that sink in. That scene just felt too silent, hollow, and empty, just like the underlying story does. This story is sterile, hollow, and empty, both narratively and visually. This news about several cases of mass disappearances alert people not to gather at public places, including Sachika who is planning to take Ritsu to UMA's live show at the Nagihama Aqua Hall.
In the flashback scene @ 01:16, it's revealed that Hanto is reminded when he (an Lage 9) actually heard Lango Mango's cheap trash talk line that he uttered toward Shouma in episode 35 which said, "It was a mistake that you were born.", not "Father always hated you, Aka Gabu!" like I hypothesized last week in my 1st post in episode 35 thread, though both would've served the same function as cheap trash talks, haha.
As usual in this atrocious story, there's a very weird thing in the flashback scene @ 01:30, where Hanto and Lage 9 are shown to be at quite a far distance (about 8-10 m) from Shouma and Lango Mango. So, if Hanto and Lage 9 were at quite a far distance (about 8-10 m) from Shouma and Lango Mango, then how the heck wer they able to hear Lango Mango's cheap trash talk, which was even severely obscured by the roaring engine of the passing plane?
How the heck Hanto and Lage 9 were able to discern what Lango Mango said to Shouma?
As always in this atrocious story, the answer is crystal clear: Because it's a plot convenience. This is soooooooooooooo obviously an awful plot convenience that's identical to the ones in episode 9 @ 01:10 where Hanto overheard the conversation (which was not even loud at all) that happened about
12 meters away from him
by the kid of the week and her friend about the rumor of a friend of theirs having been kidnapped by a monster near a tunnel, and the one in episode 20 @ 12:28 when Shouma was having a flashback about Hanto's mom (which allowed him to remember the detail of her face) when he saw from quite a distance
from the side
when Hanto pulled out a small photo (of his kid self and his mom 18 years ago) from his wallet. The writers of this atrocious story really really
really
love manipulating information in a very very
very
blatant manner like this. Hanto and Lage 9 are trying to comfort Shouma and tell him not to worry about Lango Mango's cheap trash talk, so, my hypothesis in my 2nd post in episode 35 thread 12 hours ago
here
about Shouma being encouraged by the other protagonists could correct.
Gavv 36 @ 01:30
Hanto says @ 02:03 that he thinks it's better if the information about the existence of the Granutes/Stomach's part-timers is spread to the public. He thinks it's better if the public knows the truth clearly because it'd make people become more cautious, to which both Shouma and Lage 9 agree. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, it's episode 36 already, and like I've said for the umpteenth time since my post in episode 14 thread
here
, the Tokyo police department
still
can't connect the dots at all after everything that has happened in the last 20(!) years?
Heck, even the Granute police has done virtually nothing to stop Stomach's 2 decades(!) of illegal operation. This is sooooooooooooo beyond stupid. I don't wanna live in Japan (or in the Granute society) in KR Gavv's story, because this atrocious level of utter incompetence shown by the human
and
Granute police (and other state apparatus such as the military, intelligence, homeland security, etc and
also
the press/other journalists) means that I'm living in an utterly failed state, haha.
In the scene @ 05:00 Lage 9 is visiting Dente to ask about the neutralizer for his hApPiNeSs neurotoxin which was copied by Lango Mango and his crews, but Dente says that it's impossible to create such a thing in such a short time. Instead of making a neutralizer, Dente made an unknown device. What's that device?
In the scene @ 05:26 Hanto is doomscrolling (haha
) in social media to see the public's reaction on the info about the existence of the Granutes/Stomach's part-timers that he disseminated several hours ago. He finds that many people can't tell the difference between the Riders and the Stomach part-timers due to the several petty ruckuses/commotions caused by the Dark Shoumas/KR Bitter Gavv. He thinks he can't show this to Shouma and needs to shield Shouma from those negative opinions because they'd definitely hurt Shouma's weak, fragile soul, haha.
Thank God that unlike Sachika or Hanto, Shouma is not an internet-savvy person, haha.
Meanwhile, Shouma is testing his Stomach power on pretty much very single door in Tokyo (haha
) to see which one is an interworld portal to the Granute world. He's having a flashback when Lango Mango was trash talking him ever since he was a kid, so yeah, trash talking Shouma is definitely Lango Mango's favorite pastime, haha.
As usual in this atrocious story, in the scene @ 06:29, in a very very
very
convenient coincidence, Jeebh somehow finds Shouma just to give him a piece of paper. After that, Jeebh's gone. Yeah, as always, it smells like a plot convenience, haha.
In the next scene @ 06:49 Shouma is showing that piece of paper (that contains texts in Granute letters) to Hanto, Lage 9, and Sachika. Aaaaannnnnddddd... Pretty much like I hypothesized in my 1st post in episode 35 thread
here
, Shouma says @ 06:55 that the text says that Lango Mango's next target is the Nagihama Aqua Hall where UMA is planned to perform live today. So, this is how Jeebh is sabotaging Lango Mango's plan like I mentioned earlier in the 1st paragraph. Just as Hanto is wondering if it's even possible to stop UMA's live show, Ritsu comes in and brings home all the finished fan stuffs. Sachika and Shouma are trying to warn Ritsu not to go to there. They say it's dangerous for Ritsu to go to public places where many people are gahering. Ritsu, being a hardcore UMA fan, is obviously not discouraged and decides to stiull go there. She says UMA's music has really encouraged her during tough times. Several moments later, Shouma is still feeling down and be reminded of Lango Mango's trash talks, so Hanto is trying to comfort Shouma by showing him several words of encouragement he finds from social media from several people who were helped by Shouma as a Kamen Rider, including the mom of Hajime (the kid of the week in episodes 1-2). Hanto is crediting Shouma as the one who saved those people, and those posts manage to encourage and convince Shouma that there are still people who believe in him. UMA is to Ritsu, like those people are to Shouma. Soooooooooooooooooooooo yeah, my hypothesis in my 2nd post in episode 35 thread 12 hours ago
here
about Shouma being reassured and encouraged by the other protagonists after feeling down due to having been trash talked by Lango Mango is proven to be 100% correct in this scene.
In the scene @ 10:19 Glotta is voicing her concern to Lango Mango that kidnapping humans in such a massive scale would frighten humans and decrease the number of the Hito Presses. She's worried that Stomach corporation's prosperity would be jeopardized. Lango Mango convinces her that the most important thing to do right now is fulfilling the target specified by Bocca, so it means that Lango Mango is confidently going all in with his plan.
In the scene @ 10:19 UMA's live show today is about to begin. Sachika is giving a ticket to each of Shouma, Hanto, and Lage 9 where they're planning to enter the venue as audience to patrol inside. Suddenly, the audience inside the venue were gassed by Nyelv's weird-looking smoke gun and are tranquilized by the gaseous copy of Lage 9's hApPiNeSs neurotoxin. Lage 9 then unveils Dente's new invention, which are *drum roll* *wait for it* *drum roll* *wait for it* *drum roll* friggin' gas masks(!). I get that Shouma and Hanto need to wear gas masks, but Lage 9?
Why the heck does Lage 9 also need to wear a gas mask to protect himself from
his own
hApPiNeSs neurotoxin?
So dumb!
It turns out the Granute part-timers are just the event staffs, not the UMA members, which are very likely still preparing at the backstage. And yeah, like I hypothesized last week at the end of my 1st post in episode 35 thread
here
, the next fight scene @ 13:06 between Lage 9/KR Vram vs several agents does happen at the hallway just right outside of UMA's concert hall.
Lango Mango enters the building @ 13:43 to clean up the mess created by the Riders and encounters Shouma. Lango Mango is still trying to trash talk Shouma to break his spirit, but Shouma (who was encouraged by the protagonists and the people who believed in and thanked him in social media earlier) has found a brand new resolve that enables him to... *drum roll* *wait for it* *drum roll* *wait for it* *drum roll* Modify the Gochipod RG and thus allows him to transform into KR Gavv Gochipod form Master Mode, once again, exactly like I hypothesized in my 2nd post in episode 35 thread 12 hours ago
here
. Sooooooo predictable! Another thing that irks me about episodes 35-36 is the fact that Lango Mango is sooooooooooo half-hearted in trash talking Shouma. He merely said "It was a mistake that you were born." He should've said a combination of "You're nothing because your mom was just a sex slave for my father." and "Father always hated you, Aka Gabu!" (like I hypothesized last week in my post in episode 35 thread), because those things are
actually
true. Shouma's mom was a Bouche's sex slave, and Bouche very likely hated Shouma and his mom because he did very very
very
severely abuse them. Why the heck Lango Mango only go for a cheap trash talk such as "It was a mistake that you were born", while he can go all the way in and tell Shouma all the inconvenient and even painfully obvious facts about him and his mom?
The atrocious writing on this show is sooooooooooooooooooooooo pathetically weak that even a major villain (Lango Mango) is sooooooooooooooooooooooo half-hearted and doesn't have the gut to trash talk and break the morale of his ultimate enemy (Shouma). Both Lango Mango
and
Shouma are the pinnacle of weak characters. The writers of this story tried too hard to write a dark story, yet dropped the ball at the very last minute because they had no guts to actually break the protagonist's spirit. *facepalm while vomiting from the cringe-inducing stupidity of this story
I'd have skipped on elaborating on the fight scenes between Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Master Mode vs Lango Mango (and also the fight scenes between Hanto/KR Valen and Lage 9/KR Vram vs the agents and the part-timers), but I can't help but notice how sterile all those fight scenes are. They all fight just outside of a concert hall, a very very
very
public place in Tokyo of all places, yet there are no other people there aside from those characters! There are huge commotions
and
explosions around the concert hall, and no other people show up, at least out of curiousity?
No one shows up! No one! I've never been to a concert hall that are so empty like that! It's like a concert hall from Silent Hill, not Tokyo.
Those scenes feel waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too strangely sterile. They feel too silent, hollow, and empty, just like the underlying story does. This story is soooooooooooo pathetically sterile, hollow, and empty, both narratively and visually (especially during the Riders' fight scenes).
Lage 9/KR Vram's Vrastum Gear is malfunctioning and is visibly damaged @ 19:30. Perhaps it'd have something to do with his upgrade/final form that may or may not have also something to do with Glotta who could be the one who assassinated Komel.
Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Master Mode damages Lango Mango's face (eyes?) @ 20:44, before kicking him to oblivion @ 21:03. Due to how Lango Mango's face (eyes?) was damaged several moments ago, and combined with the fact that no actual proof of death, there's quite a high chance (>50 %) that Lango Mango is still alive, only mentally damaged. I think he'd return in future episodes, perhaps as the post-final villain after Bocca (who is the most likely candidate for the final villain) is defeated in the last 1 or 2 episodes. I'd like to reiterate my 2nd point in my 2nd post in episode 35 thread 12 hours ago
here
:
"- The one who actually killed Shouma's mom at the beginning of episode 1 was not Lango Mango, but Glotta who brutally broke her Hito Press, so there could be a slight chance that Lango Mango would not be killed after being defeated by Shouma in his debut as KR Gavv Gochipod form Master Mode. There's a possibility that the defeated Lango Mango would run away and devise a new plan to retaliate on Shouma, probably working with (or even begging help from) Bocca and or Nyelv, though there's another possibility that Lango Mango would repent all his crimes and even end up opposing Bocca behind the scenes to regain control of Stomach corporation. On the other hand, Shita was also not the one who actually killed Shouma's mom, but she was still killed by Shouma in episode 14 when he debuted as KR Gavv Caking form, so I'm not sure about this hypothesis, haha.
- Bocca was featured more prominently on the latest poster, so yeah, he's very likely the final villain of this story."
So yeah, like I hypothesized in my post in episode 34
here
, KR Gavv Gochipod form Master Mode
does
debut in episode 36, and Lango Mango
is
the first punching bag, haha.
There goes Lango Mango, very unceremoniously defeated, just like Kenzou/KR Bake was. Lango Mango's character arc (read: life cycle, haha!
) goes like this:
1. Appears strong and intimidating in initial episodes.
2. Stands on the sideline, does nothing, and contributes almost nothing to the organization.
3. Knows virtually nothing about other characters' moves/schemes.
4. Makes utterly stupid decisions in order to move the uber-convoluted plot.
5. Debuts his full kaijin form and overwhelms the protagonists.
6. Be unceremoniously defeated for the first time on the very next episode after debuting his full kaijin form.
7. Be humiliated due to the first defeat.
8. Returns to the story as a post-final villain or pre-final villain to take revenge on the protagonist (and or the final villain).
9. Be unceremoniously defeated for the second time (by the protagonist and or the final villain).
10. Dies.
What a dumb, weak villain Lango Mango is, haha.
Stupid villains = Stupid story.
In the scene @ 21:36 Jeebh is visibly shocked when he sees that Lango Mango is unceremoniously defeated. He's just realized that his petty jealousy toward Lango Mango is a big mistake that creates a serious problem, so it's very likely episodes 37-38 is his turn to get his ass kicked by Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Master Mode, haha.
Oh, and like I hypothesized in my post in episode 33 thread
here
, it does take 2 episodes (35-36) to eliminate Lango Mango, just like Magen who was eliminated in episodes 33-34. So, perhaps Jeebh is going to be eliminated in episode 38?
Maybe!
Oh, and is Ritsu gonna stay until this story ends, or is she gonna disappear yet again? Based on the preview scene, it seems very likely that she's gonna vanish from the story again, haha.
Next week:
Sachika and Shouma are eating at a traditional Japanese snack restaurant owned by an old man, and a kid (his son?) is serving there. In the next scene, Hanto is introduced to the snack restaurant owner (very likely by Sachika and Shouma) where he's seemingly interviewing the owner who confides that he has done something unforgivable. In the last preview scene, the elusive wolf Granute
finally
shows up after went missing for 18 years. Like I hypothesized a long, long time ago in my post in episode 25
here
, the elusive wolf Granute was very likely not Kid Shouma (let alone Kid Shouma in berserk mode), but was actually just a lowly part-timer who was ordered by Bouche/Lango/Glotta/Nyelv to kidnap humans as usual. Based on this preview section, it seems very likely that the snack restaurant owner is the elusive wolf Granute, and he has already cleaned himself up, reformed, and turned his life around to be a productive member of the human society, and perhaps even having a family with a human(?) woman and having a son (the kid earlier?) with her. The moral/ethical dilemma for Hanto could be whether he should kill him in order to fulfill his revenge or let him alive because he has his own family to feed, also because he's a reformed criminal.
Dente and several other Stomach family members have said that Dark Snack addiction is virtually impossible to cure, but in the snack restaurant owner/the elusive wolf Granute's case, perhaps his addiction was gradually cured mostly due to the love and moral support from his human(?) wife. Him assuming his full Granute form could probably make him relapse, as the feral appearance of the elusive wolf Granute indicated that his addiction level was severe. This hypothesis creates one hard question, though: If the snack restaurant owner/the elusive wolf Granute has indeed cleaned himself up and defected from Stomach corporation, then how the heck has he been able to evade Stomach's agents and goons?
In order to avoid getting caught by Stomach, he can't live a normal live and have a normal job, let alone have a family (whether with a human or a Granute). He would've been forced to perpetually run away from Stomach and live as a perpetual fugitive, because if he's caught, he would surely be assassinated like Komel. Or perhaps I'm 1000% wrong about this hypothesis, and the snack restaurant owner and the elusive wolf Granute are 2 completely different people, haha.
Jeebh is fighting Shouma/KR Gavv Blizzardsorbet. Is he just using his Granute form, or is he going to ask Nyelv to equip him with a Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv as well, just like Magen?
Mmmmmaaaaayyyyybbbbbeeeee...
