Yeah it was David Gabriel the VP of Sales and Marketing that said that. The writer for Ms. Marvel said it best "launching a legacy character by killing off or humiliating the original character sets the legacy character up for failure. Who wants a legacy if the legacy is shitty?" Also, a poorly written story with diversity is still a poorly written story, and a poorly written character with diversity is still a poorly written character. It's definitely childish to blame your readers when you and the writers cram it down our throats and make it the only important factor within a series.

Also another problem, the constant relaunches and cancelling ongoings and using the excuse they intended for it to be a mini/limited series. It's really tiring now...
