Hoero has a new job at a most unlikely place.

A very entertaining recap of the episode. Hoeru gets a job at Toei and ends up on the set of a documentary about the Gozyugers. The comedy is based on the fact that the producer does not believe in his belonging to the group. In principle, the episode managed to cover and show all the important aspects of the show, without missing anything or wasting time on trifles.
I would like to point out the direct statement that the Gozyugers are opponents in the fight for the rings, but comrades in protecting people. And this is in fact very important for understanding the essence of the team and the show. They may have different, completely different dreams, but the same morality. I also like that the Goranger ring was not used by the producer, but was immediately given to them by Hoeru. It even seems to me that the statement that it was just lying around in a warehouse is a reference to the history of Super Sentai, when Gorangers and JAKQ were not recognized as part of the franchise. So the tribute, although not the brightest, is still not stupid and respectful. And in the next episode: Bouquet loses her memory! Battle Japan! And Kuon again thought of something bad (which is usual, but still interesting). This show never ceases to delight and amaze me, and without even trying too hard. P.S. Also, Gozyuger has already mentioned Zubat twice. It seems that Akiko Inoue does not hide her source of inspiration. |

BURNIIIIIIIIIIIIIING FINGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!
Just the fact that this episode's premise (and for a recap at that!) was to have Tonoo apply for a job at TOEI of all places makes this one of the greatest recap episodes ever. The fact that we're not just celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Goranger, but ALSO the 35th Anniversary of Mobile Fighter G Gundam in the same episode is simply hilarious. I may only be recently getting into Gundam, but the fact that I knew they were referencing it, heck they even had Tomokazu Seki dress up as Domon Kazu (and voiced the Bridan General) made this even better! I need to watch G Gundam after I'm done with the main Universal Century Shows. This show has been full of such outrageously genius associations with its themes and gimmicks that this is already right next to Zenkaiger for me. One of the best shows of the year! Next Time: The Obligatory Amnesia Episode!
