Well good news for you, the HD Remaster is all on Youtube with English Subs on the official GARO PROJECT channel. It just finished 2 weeks ago. From what I could gleam, they're much better than the machine translated subs used for Inheritor of Steel.

The first two episodes are from way back when they first mentioned wanting to do English Subs, but the rest are newer uploads.

Less added subs to the rest of the episodes and more uploaded new versions of the episodes with subs starting about 5 months back.

But yeah all of 2005 is subbed on that Youtube Channel.

This makes me sorely tempted to revisit the first Garo series before finally getting around to jumping into its sequel series, Makai Senki, plus the Red Requiem movie and even rewatching two certain specials that place in between.
