			And that's what I was getting at anyway. Being a nerd/otaku/whatever you wanna call it is a good thing (and accepted much more these days) because it shows someone is passionate about what he likes.

			It would probably depend person to person. Some would say Kamen Rider, some would say Sentai, some would say any Tokusatsu series. It's just perspective. It doesn't matter though. You should be accepted via how you are as a person, and not for a show/s you enjoy. And once again, what's with the random topic and you asking what's acceptable?

			Here is how Wikipedia lists the translation of the word otaku. A polite way of saying "your house", also used as a pronoun to address a person with slight sense of distance. Otaku/otakki/ota turned into a slang term referring to a type of geek/obsessive hobbyist, as they often addressed each other as otaku.
