Finished Madoka today. Still can't form a cohesive thought/paragraph/sentence about it...

I dunno if it moves too quick, or if I'm just a heartless monster, or if it's just too out there for its own good. I just.. Yeah... Either way, it certainly wasn't what I expected and I really did 'enjoy' it. My main qualms are with story, so I will say that I like the animation and designs. Plus the way it switches styles is really neat. It's also, apart from a small selection of scenes, not got a lot of the stereotypical anime tropes, like fan service etc. so that's a plus for me. I also really want a Mami Figma. Okay I want all of them... But Mami was definitely my favourite! Homura second. |

The thing with the story, is that imo, it's best enjoyed taking breaks between episodes, giving time for making up theories and analilzing all the symbolism, of course that could just be me. That's good! Wanting the Figmas is a good start and Mami looks great in figure form. |
