I was just wondering, how do I get my friends to get into Kamen Rider, or to at least check it out.

I generally treat Blade as the same as I do with Gaim, with multiple characters that have a claim to "Secondary" Rider.
But for a solid, solitary answer, I consider it Chalice. Quote:
If they want something more on the funny side, Den-O. If they want something a little more on the serious side, then either Double or Gaim.

Don't take it the wrong way.
The only way for Decade to not piss you off is to have little Kamen Rider experience prior. That, and it provides a good showcase for the Heisei suits in action. While the stories are different and all AU, it gives you a nice taste of past series. Basically, there are two reasons I'll ever recommend Decade. 1. To get newcomers interested 2. Because you've watched every other series and you have nothing else to do

My first try was to suggest my favorite series, but these days, I usually show them openings and transformations first and then let them decide what catches their interest. If they ask about a series, I'll explain a bit and they often ask: What's good? And then of course I suggest.... not to watch Blade or Hibiki first because the video quality of the subbed version sucks. ![]() |

Decade was my third series I ever watched, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I really only didn't like Kiva from the world but I watched Kiva before Decade so that's why. Tsukasa is a very interesting, and fun character.
