I didn’t feel sad at all during the last two episodes of W because I knew that they didn’t had the balls to keep Philip dead. I knew he would return and because of that every dramatic scene was completely lost on me. I really hate the ending to be honest. OOO and Drive did it better. And in both cases they always left the option for the deceased character to return open and it did happen in a movie with OOO, so they could’ve done the same with W.

I love W overall but the ending sucks.

The only good thing about tgat episode tbh is seeing how much Phillip means to Shotarou, so I highly agree

Yeah, and I would've enjoyed that a lot more if I didn’t anticipate that he would be back for the last episode

I think Toei HAS forgotten about him, aren't using him because 'OOH FROM THE FUTUUUURE' or considers him noncanon. Actually, how many movie exclusive Riders appear in those movies outside Sango?

None if I remember correctly. But the Space Ironmen and Inazuman did appear in SHTZ, even though they aren't Riders.

and yeah, I think Toei did forget about him. He doesn't even have an SH Figuarts! (Although neither does Poseidon or most movie exclusive Riders) hich is disappointing, he has a really cool design and I would love to see him in action again.

Space Ironmen and Inazuman were homages to other Ishinomori shows, and we did get Kikaider and Zubat (no, not the overhated bat), so I believe it was more of a 'Look! This exists!' Speaking of, Inazuman needs a show again

I will admit that since W was the first season I watched I wasn't too up on my Rider tropes so some things worked better for me than someone who watched a lot of seasons. Definitely one of Wizard's strengths is that they killed Koyomi off for real. I thought that part was nicely done.

Kamen Rider Aqua was pretty cool. I would imagine that he would have shown up later on. Maybe Toei will bring him back for his own show in 2051 :P!

Two reasons:

1) That Movie War was the last Kamen Rider OOO story and Aqua is an OOO character.

2) He's a movie Rider. It's really rare to see these guys show up again outside of material directly related to their home series, and even then it's really only when Diend is involved.

I'm honestly really disappointed that we never got anymore OOO. W, Gaim, and now Drive have all gotten spin-off and follow-up movies, but nothing for OOO. It was definitely a show that deserved more.
