Why does it have to be "Squadron"? That sounds too awkward, why wouldn't "Squad" work just as well?

Because, I forget which website (Someone Help Me with That?), had listing for toys under "Power Rangers Celestial Squadron". And the rumormill was that would be what the next season would be called.
