Why would Kabuto team-up with the Gekirangers? It was in a programming block with Boukenger. That's why Gekiranger teamed up with Den-O in the film. They were the Superhero Time pairing for that year.

Other than the reasoning behind Decade and Marvelous' actions and the "...Wait, what?" ending, I thought the first film was perfectly enjoyable.

Trust me I would have LOVED a Boukenger/Kabuto team up. Tendou and Akashi were damn hilarious in their little segments between shows. Tendou playing with a DX Daibouken was just great

Well I probably won't be watching this for the plot though I have to wonder what the motivation for fighting each other this time will be.

Great now I'm thinking that the last super hero taisen never happened and np-ones ever met each other before.
