NEVER! Now which ones are those? I know the left one far back is the Ver. Ka, but is the forward left one a Revoltech, and the further right one is the RIOBOT.

Is it true that Megaman lacks thigh swivels?
Ooooo how does the SRC compare with the RIOBOT?

A lot better than I was initially expecting actually. Its much sturdier than the Riobot (which as beautiful as it is, is incredibly light) with articulation that's nearly on par with it.
The Riobot is probably better aesthetic-wise, but the SRC is significantly more anime-accurate even with the weird oversized knees Bandai gave it (which aren't as bad in-hand). The headsculpts are incredible. Finally there's the accessory count, which is pretty much neck and neck if you shell out for the drill accessory set to go with it. On its own the SRC lacks any sort of oversized drills which is a big shame. The Riobot has a better selection of drill weapons and a stand, but if has no "fully drillized" option like the SRC has. Honestly you can't really go wrong with either. If I had to choose I would pick the Riobot, but considering you can get the SRC and the drill set for less than the Riobot costs its an extremely good alternative. The Riobot is a work of art, but the SRC is the better toy if that makes sense.

Yes actually he does lack them. And for anyone who wants to pick him up BE DAMN CAREFUL WITH THOSE HIPS. They can apparently sheer right off the hinge with minimal force, I'm lucky mine hasn't done that. It's just a metal pin holding them on after all. But the mold benefits from the simple pin joints. As in it doesn't fall apart looking at it like X and Zero did. Unfortunately Bass is going to be made from the X/Zero mold

Looks like i didn't post pics here of my recent Play Arts Kai figs.
Arkham City Batman is good, but kinda hard to pose because he's so large and back heavy. ![]() Arkham Asylum Harley looks awesome, but she also is difficult to pose. I don't know if it's just the skirt or if there's something else about her legs, but I can't really get her into any interesting poses. She looks great just standing, but I wish I could do more with her. Hopefully AC Harley has more posing options. ![]() ![]() Arkham City Catwoman is awesome. ![]() Catwoman is the clear winner, her joints have great movement and range, and she looks good in all sorts of poses. I wish she had a calf or thigh swivel, but she does pose well without it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Also finally took some decent quality pics of the Arkham City Harley statue. it is gorgeous and I love her. |
