I'm not sure whether its a good or bad thing, but that's reduced my interest in going all out on these cards. Since I'll probably have no one to ever play the game with, it was mainly about the collecting side for me.

even though they are toy exclusive, there are variants of at least some of the cards in the booster packs I've seen

this may not be the most appropriate thread for this but does the gosei morpher have some sort of tab blocming the phrases in package. i brought some of my zord cards to walmart and tried a morpher on the shelf and the cards i used just said go go megaforce when inserted.

There's a 'demo' mode that the morpher is stuck on in the package.

i see its not hard getting the ultra rares from the packs at all.i brought 3 yesterday at target and got 2 ultras out of 3 packs its all random

To answer everyone's questions about the toy and booster packs, there are two avenues to receive cards: Toys and Card Packs.

The toys come with cards which are numbers P-xxx, the p meaning Promo. These are specific cards exclusive to the toys.

The starter packs and booster packs come with cards numbered for their respective series. Series 1 is the only one out now, so they are labeled 1-xxx, and only come with the Series 1 Starter Pack and Booster Packs.

Series 2 will consist of only booster packs labeled 2-xxx. Series 2 will come with 115 cards consisting of S.P.D., Ninja Storm, Lightspeed Rescue, Lost Galaxy, In Space, and Mystic Force, RPM, Super Samurai and Megaforce. It also will have villain cards for Rita, Ecliptor, and Diabolico.

The Series cards that come with the packs will span the entire franchise and will give you a chance to get cards for the rangers that are included in the toys, such as the 5 red rangers that come with the Gosei Morpher, although different cards.

The Gosei Morpher has 3 modes it can go into: Try Me, On, and TCG.

Try Me plays Go Go Megaforce when any card is used, and is the default mode in the package.

On plays the phrases from the cards.

TCG reads power levels and special effects from cards for the TCG.
