I don't like them at all. I think the thing that makes Akiba Yellow special is the ponytails. The buns aren't as cute, I won't buy season 2 Figuarts if the only change is the helmets. There would need to be awesome accessories, or other, more significant and interesting changes for me to buy them.

Red getting a "super form" was pretty obvious, but I'm not too impressed by the girls. Giving them new hairstyles absolutely could have worked, but these are just a little bit too boring, especially if they expect us to buy the same figures again, just with slightly different head sculpts.

Yeah, from what I can tell, it looks like the only changes to the girls' costumes are different helmets, and $40 is a tough sell for just new helmets that I don't like as much as the Season 1 helmets anyway. They're just generic buns now rather than being unique to each girl. It's kind of a boring and disappointing design choice, actually. I hope they pack the heads in with some other figure because I don't think another blue and yellow will sell well otherwise...

I was thinking pack in the new girl heads with the new Red figure. But that could actually work better for individual figure sales. They did show off the unhelmeted heads before, so we know they worked on them. Granted, Blue would need a new head since she's got a new actress.
