I'm a big fan of fighting game. always have been.
I've only just got into Kamen Rider. But I loved W, and finished off OOOs within two weeks because it was even awesome-er-er... So ya...i think i want at least one Rider video game fighter. Which one is the most-like/best one to get. (Ether has the most Riders or stand about the rest in game play or a balence of both) And does anyone have any idea were I could find/buy it? |

The only US Kamen Rider game we've ever gotten was the Dragon Knight game on the Wii and DS. I wouldn't hold your breath for any more, unless whatever Power Rider ends up being opens doors or somethin.

However, if you can mod your PS2 or get your hands on a Japanese PS2, the Kabuto game is probably the best Rider fighting game.
The Climax Heroes games are pretty nice, but half the cast feels incomplete (I haven't played CH OOO though). The Dragon Knight game does use the Climax Heroes engine though. Last edited by Matrixbeast; 02-17-2012 at 11:51 PM.. |

Modding the Wii is pretty easy, too. I'll leave that for other people to discuss, though.
But for US releases, the Wii and DS versions of Dragon Knight are A LOT of fun. They're both pretty different games, but they're essentially both fighters. The Wii version is VERY similar to the Climax Heroes games. As a matter of fact, they use the same engine. And the OOO version of Climax Heroes uses all of the Dragon Knight character models for Ryuki Riders. And even some of the music. But rambling aside, they're both WAY more fun than they appear to be.

I should mention that handheld systems are region free. So you can play Imported games on the PSP or the DS no problem at all.
As for what the best Rider game is... I'd say get All Generations for the DS, that was surprisingly a lot of fun. Last edited by Kiryu; 02-18-2012 at 12:59 AM.. |

Also, surprisingly the original music in the game is REALLY good. Like, something I would pay money to listen to. A lot of dark, ambient electronic sounding music. Are you sure the PSP is region free? I wouldn't know, I only use mine for emulating old consoles ;3;

UMD Movies are region locked, but not UMD games, so yes, it'll play imports without the need of hacking/moding.

Yeah, you can put any Japanese game in a PSP from your area. It'll play it.
