I still don't see why everyone hates his hair. Is it because it makes him look like the pop-star that must not be named?

Very true, Takeru was the brooding type because he always had a heavy burden with this role as the head of the Shiba Clan, whereas Jayden just looks like he's about to go postal on someone, or just constipated.
