I've not really put a lot of thought into it, but I want a Western themed team dammit! With hat shapes moulded into the helmets and spurs they can use as weapons ala the RPM tyres.

Mining Sentai Subterranger.

They'd battle a race of magma-spawned beings from a Pelucidar-type kingdom trying to conquer the surface world using volcanos, monsters, and ancient technology. The Subterrangers use their bleeding edge weapon and vehicle technology to fend them off.
