I'm sorry if there is already a thread like this.
So I was thinking that Gokaiger has been one of the best Sentai series and would be the best Power Ranger series. I have heard people say it would be impossible because of all of the series that we never had in America. My idea to solve this would be to make Pirate Rangers (I kind of hope thats the name) could be more then one season like MMPR. This way they could make episodes that have 2 or 3 parts to introduce past teams that we didn't get. Saban could also just make the rangers meet the old teams we didnt have and not explain it. I know these ideas arent good but I want to see what you all think of having an American Gokaiger and how it could be pulled off.

I really, REALLY hope they don't make the American adaptation just a re-dubbed Gokaiger. We used footage and suits, but stories, genders, and characters changed.

Actually that would be probably the only way it would stay great.

They "could" go the multiverse route and say there are 34 universes and 34 power ranger teams and to get the biggest treasure of all they must collect all powers. Heck, they could even go the Alice in Wonderland route with JAKQ and Battle Fever J could be the Power Rangers of a comic book-ish world. They don't even need all rangers. They could have a key guest character of the day and by solving the "riddle" or "puzzle" they obtain the powers from them.

We have the mystery of the Phantom Ranger, Rangers throughout the galaxy (At least 3 teams (Space, Galaxy, and Alien, along with Trey of Triforia), as well as the possibility of Masked Rider), the possible connection between Lost Galaxy and Wild Force, the Titanium Ranger, etc. Gokaiger took advantage of it's past and was great. Why should we just re-dub (Essentially, not literally) their anniversary series rather than take advantage of it and make it ours? |

I wouldnt mind them using the same general idea, yknow space pirates fighting an evil empire and what not,but if they dub it word for word i think it'll bog it down.theres only 3 things i dont like about samurai.
1.The acting. They couldve done so much better with some of the acting. If they get good actors for Gokaiger(or whatever they'll call it),and i dont mean Disney actors type good,i mean actual actor actor type good, then it'll be a good series 2.The sound effects. For some reason, probably just personal preference,it seemed like they tried to hard with the sound effects. It also seemed like they tried to add a sound effect to everything. and 3.the suits.dont get me wrong,i like the idea of a mega mode for the rangers, yknow make it your own and whatnot, but it just seemed like the mega mode makes them too stiff.you cant see their faces when theyre in the suits,so you have to rely on their body language, and when it says "i cant move cause of this suit">then it makes it look like they have no emotion at all.Just look at the scene when antonio finishes the box and hands it to jayden.when he talks back to the bad guy you can see antonios emotion, but if he was in mega mode, well you remember when bart fought lisa by walking towards her spinning his arms.....yeah that.lol And bulk and spike, ditch them.Sure they're classics but its time to move on. I think Saban will handle Gokaiger well,im still thinking of Goseiger though and how they'll do that.lol |

Honestly, I don't see why everyone thinks Saban is going to adapt Goseiger and Gokaiger in the first place. If there's one thing I know about Samurai, it's that it's trying too hard to be like MMPR. As such, by the time Super Samurai is done, they'll probably just move right on to Gobusters, if anything. And if they do decide "hey, let's do Gokaiger!" they could use most of the stock footage. Remember Gokaiger didn't do many tribute episodes for pre-Liveman shows.

Go-Busters will still be on air long after Samurai is finished, we have about another 20 episodes left of that show. While Go-Buster is going to be rocking 50-52. They already started casting for what ever they plan on doing so "GB" is out of the question.
But a cool name for AkaRed in Power Rangers could be The Morphin Master! I remember talks about "Morphing Masters" during the old PR days. All he needs is a new belt and change the anniversary logo to the PR-bolt. I also got this weird feeling that they may merge Goseiger & Gokaiger into one series.

The biggest question mark about a Gokaiger adaption is whether or not they plan to use non-Power Ranger series from Sentai or not. If they do ... I have no idea. If they don't? Easy.
- "Marvelous" is/was Zordon's apprentice Red Ranger on Altar. Zordon said he was destined for greatness. Zordon relayed a message that the "Greatest Treasure in all the Universe lies on the planet Earth ... seek it out, and nothing will ever stand in the way of good" or something cheesy like that. - "Marvelous" arrives on Earth (blowing past the Zangyack empire in Episode 1) and lands. At that point, the rest of the cast (all Earthlings) meet and join up and become Space Pirates or whatever they want to call it with "Marvelous". Guest appearances from previous Power Ranger alumni (a lot of New Zealanders, obviously). The 6th Ranger should be a relative of a former Power Ranger ... like Tommy's nephew or something. The Ranger Keys aren't just there ... they have to go out and get them. Zeo Ranger powers could be on Triforia where the Gold Power Staff has to activate them. Mighty Morphin powers? Travel to the past where Tommy's Green Ranger clone is (and still has the Dragon coin). Alien Rangers? To Aquatar. Turbo Rangers? Track down Justin (yes, Justin). In Space Rangers? KO-35 it is. Lost Galaxy powers? Mirinoi. Lightspeed Rescue? Track down Carter. Time Force? Silver Guardians and a whole team cameo. Wild Force? Ehhh. Ninja Storm? Good opportunity to bring back Shane, Tori, and Dustin for a fun battle between Alien Rangers and Ninja Storm Rangers. Dino Thunder? It's Tommy time, and just for shits and giggles, his nephew could let him use all his old powers for one hell of a fight. SPD? Doggie and Kat. Mystic Force? Briarwood. Jungle Fury? Ehhh. RPM? Take the subway train in the Samurai/RPM team-up! Samurai? Go visit Jayden and his sister, or whatever. There done. |
