I don't understand why so many people were wanting Torin to be the 6th ranger. I've never been a fan of the "alien" rangers; they have completely different body structure, yet they transform into a humanoid suit. I guess morphing involves a liquification process of some kind and they get poured in :/

A Dekamaster (That's what he was called right?) or the Shadow Ranger from SPD still confuses me to this date on how his head can shrink into that helmet.

I don't really care that Torin isn't the sixth ranger. maybe later on he'll retrieve a Beast battery but he always struck me as a guardian of the powers rather than a wielder.

Am I the only one who's noticed that the new mecha's head bares a striking resemblance to Gozyujin?

Nice to see that the preview pics of Pteragodon's leg claws look less freaky on the suit. And that said claws don't jut out awkwardly from the thighs.

Not really bothered who Gold is =p I really hope we don't have a 'old warrior is trapped in his zyudnechi because a bad guy is controlling their mech' story-line every time we have a new mech/warrior. It'll get old quick.

On the plus side, crotch hands on the mecha don't look too goofy, so there's that. Either way, can't wait for them both to show up =)

I guess being an "alien" Ranger is precisely why people want Torin to be a Ranger. When Doggie Kruger became DekaMaster, I was really impressed that they actually got one of their puppet characters to become a Ranger!

We've seen many examples that henshins and morphing changes the body structure in both Power Rangers and Super Sentai. Besides Doggie Kruger, there's Kou (Kibaranger) and Justin (Blue Turbo Ranger) who were kids that transformed into adults and Ramirez (KyoryuCyan) who visibly lost a lot of pounds after henshin. If I want to be nitpicky, it's amazing how Theo (Blue Jungle Fury Ranger) suddenly gained so much height and how Dillon (RPM, Ranger Series Black) suddenly became so small despite having a large body frame.

No one questioned it when Kiba Ranger was a child who grew to adult size in costume. No one made a big stink about big ol' Ramirez shrinking substantially down into the Cyan costume. And Beet J Stag slims down significantly when he becomes Stag buster. And I love Dekamater, and I would have loved to have seen Torin be that type of character.

You know, based on the black Pteragodon Zyudenchi we've seen for episode 6 & 7 I have an awfully good feeling that the Pteraidenoh will pull a Gao Hunter Evil/Justice on us. It looks like it has a visor that can cover it's eyes, I'm betting that's how they differentiate between it being controlled by the Debos and being controlled by gold himself.

Yeah their def going for a gaoranger homage with him having an evil mode and Gold being inside Degold. Would have also been nice if they'd made it a nice long story arc like in Gaoranger also. But I guess an evil Dx Pteraidenoh would have sat on the shelf longer. I'm def gonna pick up the Candie toy battery and paint it black just so I have pure and corrupted battery.
