Patlabor 1 is one of my favorite anime movies to this very day. It had Mechs but they weren't firing huge cannons at each other and flying through space. They were real. The characters were good, I loved Noa and Alphonse. I think the OVA is dubbed somewhere. The movies were. Any plans on watching Patlabor 2?

I still have a bootleg copy laying around somewhere that I'd watch almost religiously growing up when I was really getting into Anime. Watched it nearly as much as I did the 86 Transformers Movie. The others movies weren't nearly as good as the first one was IMO.

I know but I loved them anyway. Something about Mechs, and Police, and the Mechs don't transform into Bird Modes and gave Space Cannons.. I love it! I love Gundam too. I just like reality in my anime now and then

This episode was ok. I felt that it was weaker than episode 1 since it was mostly filler, though stuff did still happen. Apparently Shoji Kawamori has a fascination with boob shaped foods. I was having flashbacks to the Midnight Channel with their reality show...ugh...I've been playing too much Persona...I still wonder what Chieri's father is planning...
