Okay, Conner wasn't that stupid. Over the course of the series, he did grow and develop as a fighter. Granted, most of this was because he received power-ups he needed to learn how to use, but that still adds to his fighting prowess.

The thing I'm saying though is that Connor never had a fight that really needed strategy.He would just go in and rely on his power.And if it was a fight where he had to use some smarts,it was mostly just "Hey,look at this glaringly obvious weak spot and hit it!"
