I picture Ai more along the lines of this.

Nothing against the one you drew Sideswipe, but she looks too scienicy and proper. Wouldn't fit all the clutzy adorable moments we write for her.

And I said I thought of Ai looking like Miyuki cosplaying as T-AI from Transformers RID.
Sure the design falls short on TF, but still.

Did you incorporate Miyuki Takara into Ai's civilian design?

Do you mean that pink haired anime girl? I sketched out everything on Ai, and used that girl for reference on how to draw her eyes and glasses (I'm not good at those )

Nor am I. Usually I just have the glasses just BE the eyes and make all sunglasses big visors.

Though Ai's hair is the big connection that I'm seeing. Especially since GuestPink's ponytail doesn't seem to match up with Ai's very long civilian hair.

Or maybe her helmet follows the same conservation of mass for her hair that Kruger's helmet employs when it comes to his snout.

Well, the "hair" on her helmet is actually part of the helmet .

Ah. Usually molded hair is the same color as the rest of the suit or it's the hair of the creepiest senshi design ever's hair.

So, I guess when she transforms, Ai's hair just goes to the dimension where Noah's glasses go?
