I never saw the ninja zords coming before the Shogun zords as a problem. In the context of the Power Rangers' arsenal progression, going from robot animals to humanoid robots with animal faces makes far more sense than the opposite.

Yes Power Rangers uses Sentai Footage but they are two completely different shows and you have no obligation to recognise or respect Sentai as a Power Rangers fan and no one should pressure you into thinking otherwise.

I hate this attitude that the Sentai originals are some kind of God you should be sacrificing virgins to.

Just ignore the fact that Samurai was the most popular Power Rangers has been in about decade, right? PR is in the best financial state is has been in a long time. It doesn't matter that we're unhappy, because the people that makes them the most money are very happy. Yes, the quality of Megaforce and Samurai isn't spectacular, but kids are loving it and buying the merchandise and watching the show and that's what makes something successful when it all comes down to it. I understand that it sucks that Power Rangers has really been down in quality lately, but I think its in a better position when it comes to success then it has been in a LONG time.

I had hoped that Power Rangers fans would be less fickle than Transformers fans. Alas, it seems that I'm wrong. Look, I don't like Jonathan Tzachor either, but I really don't care what some rumors say, I'm saving my judgment for Super Megaforce. Even if the season does end up sucking, at least we have the toys to fall back on.

Yeah they act like Super Sentai is the high art version of Power Rangers, largely ignoring Super Sentai is just as likely to be rammed with filler, child friendly nonsense, poor plotting and in most cases they have much more inferior tech to edit and shoot their footage.

I'm not saying one is worse than the other but Super Sentai snobbery and the near bullying of Power Rangers fans to kneel before the Super Sentai originals really really angers me.

It's honestly the exact same thing I encountered during my otaku days.
"It's Japanese, so it's obviously the better product" Was a mentality that I saw quite often, ignoring all flaws and errors, regardless of how large, just because it's the Japanese show.
