I was never really bothered by Alicorn-Twilight. I always thought it was pointless. Equestria Girls still bothers me from an aesthetic perspective (I'd be concerned if a person's skin were blue/purple), but it seems harmless.

I'm bothered by it because it's a story telling nightmare. You don't turn your character into God.

EG is meh. I'll watch it, eventually. Since it's merely a spinoff, it doesn't bother me.
