Per Fury Diamond:

A source hinted that cameos will be used in the final scene (after the final battle) of Power Rangers Super Megaforce. There is no confirmation on whether they plan to use all of the 10 cast members for this scene.
If it's true, what are your feelings? Did we just get the proverbial shaft from Haim Saban and Jonathan Tzachor?

If Casey's getting hi's own episode i don't see why other past rangers can't.

In some ways I can't help but wonder if this will work better.
As it's only twenty episodes, if we planned to have a tribute episode every episode then you'd likely commit the sin of having your guests outshine your core team and that'd suck. At least this way we can concentrate on the Megaforce Rangers more and not just turn the whole thing into a massive nostalgic fanwank.

So it's the All Riders versus Daishocker method.
They made it work for that, and it was only three or four actors. Hopefully they do this one better though, with more actors available. |

Another update (I would make my own thread, but it blocks me from doing so for some reason.)
Quote:
The key word is "at this time".
There is no confirmation at this time that only Casey (Jason Smith) gets a tribute episode. Alex was spotted on set and may have filmed his tribute or cameo episode. Not all of the Disney actors have been confirmed and they did reach out to the Operation Overdrive cast. My guess is that we may see a few other Disney tributes. One thing to keep in mind is that the word tribute is overused in the past few months. This isn't Gokaiger...even though we may see heavy translation next year. For me, a Super Megaforce tribute is when a cast member has a decent scene when he interacts with the primary cast members. As mentioned in the previous post, there is no confirmation whether all of the cameos will be used in the final scene. They may be using a few or half of the cast members for this scene and use the others for a quick scene in other episodes. With a few days of filming, I am not expecting all of the ten cast members get a spotlight. Credit to Fury Diamond as always.. |

Mike Chat (Chad, Blue Lightspeed Rescue Ranger) was invited for Super Megaforce. Still waiting to find out if he accepted or declined.
EDIT: Whether it's important or not to note it, but he received a phone call invitation and not an E-mail one.

More like "Still waiting for him to decline it" knowing the current track record...

Looks like Daniel Southworth (Eric, Quantum Ranger) was invited or at least his availability was "inquired upon" back in March. No update on whether or not he accepted, but in the same message a fan asked if he had been "flown away to Ranger Land" and Daniel responded "Nope, but they inquired".

It really does look like the production team agreed to bring on 10 previous cast members for cameo. Once the 10th was confirmed (which I assume is what Fury Diamond is going to be releasing later today), all others that were "invited, accepted, and waiting to hear back" are going to be "un-invited" much as Rhett Fisher and Blake Foster were.
Nakia Burise made it sound like she was uninvited at the last second, the same for Blake Foster. Could the term, "Contract issues" really mean "uninvited"? My personal hope is that the 10th is Jason Geiger/Austin St. John (Jason, MMPR, PRZ). I'm doubtful, but that's my own hope. But would that mean unless the actors lived in New Zealand and were willing to travel at their own dime to the set, that anyone overseas was uninvited (unless they were willing to pay their own way)? Starting to look that way.
