It isn't exactly like its still going constantly. There's been one film every 2-3 years, and even then there's only one of those left now.

Besides, Rebuild of Evangelion has been fantastic.

What I'm trying to say is that there doesn't need to be a new film every 2-3 years.

If it's not obvious, I don't like Evangelion.
But to not unnecessarily step on any toes, I won't go into why (Primarily because, unlike Decade, ain't no way in hell am I rewatching it, so my memory of it has been hazy).
