And I understand that, that is why I don't play it. I like my games to have a story and characters. Hence why I play games like Legacy of Kain, GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Metal Gear, and just completed The Last of Us, which was amazing. |

Street Fighter IV continues to kick my ass, and I should be getting FFXIII in tomorrow.

I think the first sentence was I don't get it...

You're trying to find the appeal of one game in another that clearly exists for a different reason.

Been playing Bioshock Infinite all evening. This is THE best sequel I've ever played and all I could ever ask for as a BioShock fan, I waited so long to play this but I am so glad I did. It took the best parts of the first two games and none of the bad and just WOW.

Are you kidding? Super Metroid is my favorite video game of all time. There was still enough backstory to Samus and it was enjoyable. I'm referring to games nowadays from the last 10 years. Ever since Soul Reaver and GTA, I want more out of my games than just mindless crap. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying mindless crap is not good, but out of the little time I have nowadays to play games, I want story over gimmicks.

I agree but I also disagree. While going through Columbia, I don't get the eerie feeling I get when going through Rapture. Even in parts where Elizabeth isn't with you, nothing compares to how freaky it is being under the ocean, alone, in a dark, damp, busted hell hole that could just collapse in on itself any minute.
I await to hear your opinion on the ending too ![]() The powers seem more gruesome this time though, real body horror stuff going on when you access the Vigors and like making soldiers shoot themselves and stuff, that is pretty dark. I'll let you know about the ending when I get there!

Picked up Project X Zone today, and so far I'm enjoying it quite a bit. The game is for anyone though, but if anyone here liked Endless Frontier, it's basically the same game.
