I will look into uploading the... well, less TV-N version of Nexus, subbed by James Ballard of the defunct Ultraman-Nexus.com, so that if you want an alternative, you can have it. No guarantees on a streaming option.

Is there a difference in quality or is the TVN subs just laden with un-translated portions?

I don't need them streamed, I just want a good set of subs, and if there's a better alternative than TVN, I'm willing to go that route.

I think TV-Nihon's subtitles are actually really great. True, they don't translate everything, but it's usually things like the honorary titles of a person. I've found that people have been over-exaggerating TV-Nihon's untranslated portions a lot lately.

Maybe a little. But when you have Over Time subbing EVERYTHING and doing their best to localise and make everything make sense, TVN have no excuse for not translating anything.
