Kevin longs for his past as a competitive swimmer, and he struggles to assist the team after a Nighlok devours his Samuraizer. Elsewhere, Dayu and Deker make a pact with Serrator.

Can the Gigazord even move?? I can't say I like the intro it got: at the start of the ep it was "if we try to form it and do it wrong all the zords are toast", and in the end they just popped it right together like they've been doing it since day 1. That made pointing out the chance of destroying all their zords pretty much pointless. BTW- Mike's phone icon for Kevin: priceless.....

A fairly decent episode, but typical Samurai mediocrity IMO. It was nice to see Shogun mode again, but now I'm almost certain all its just a fancy 5-second costume to use a special zord attack

Unless Saban wants to film new fighting footages with the Battlizer, I think they did it so they only need to spend money on reshooting new cockpit scenes. And I think Shogun mode looks like was designed to look great standing and posing, but not when it is requires to do any acrobatic moves because it doesn't seemed like it has good mobility, and that suit probably weights a ton.

So looks like Shogun Mode is pretty much just going to be in the Megazord Yep, that was a really nice touch.
