There's been more male Yellow Rangers than Violet, though!

I suppose Kyoryu Gold counts, sorta, but his shoulder thingy is different than the normal Kyoryugers, and the Gold is not as bright as the Yellow would be. He still looks pretty neat. All of them do, which alone is a nice plus to the series.

But it's still just plain weird not to have a Yellow Ranger in any capacity.

I must grudgingly admit the show isn't as awesome as I had hoped, but it's still great fun. I thought the last two episodes in particular were really good, and hope we see more of the kind. Unfortunately it seems the show intends to go back to gags in the next episode.

Well it's still fun to follow.

I think I'm done with the show. Like I said in this week's episode discussion, there are just too many things that either annoy or bore me and too few things that I find entertaining. I may check it out again from time to time, but for now I'm probably done watching it weekly.

Wow the show actually took something serious?! When? I gave up on this about 12 episodes in I think (when Gold was first introduced and went from evil Ranger to on the team in like one episode).

I honestly don't know why I'm following, considering this show really doesn't do anything for me.
Outside of Ian's story, the show takes nothing seriously. It's not painful to watch, it's just boring.

Anyway, I'm actually having flash backs to Sun Vulcan, but where Sun Vulcan was one extreme, Kyoryuger is sitting on the other, supplanting plot and story for more fight scenes.

It's entertaining in a mindless sort of way. I feel what makes the show interesting is that it's not offensive. It aspires to be nothing more than popcorn entertainment and does a decent job.

It reminds me a lot of Go-onger, actually. I may want to start comparing the two.

Which means that when we get around to seeing it adapted to Power Rangers, it will be the most serious, dark, brooding PR season EVAR.
