More like stabbed by a fat man in a diaper with large, feathery wings and a bow, this having taken place probably before the series, if you catch my drift.

Dunno whether that refers to Cupid or Virgo.

Virgo the Virgin is female. I specifically stated, "fat man."

I see my joke went over your head
![]() The suit actor for Virgo has no page but if you copy it into google the first face you get on the right hand side is a fat Japanese man.

That wasn't a confused, "Huh." If anything, by thinking that I was confused, and attempting to ease my confusion, you have actually made me confused, because now I have little ideas regarding what the heck you're talking about in your last post.

Since Ryuki was getting kind of dull I decided to skip ahead to episode 16 of Wizard just because I wanted to at leats see the secondary rider.
Man, I really understand why some people say modern series stink compared to old ones now. Or rather, GODDAMN WIZARD IS FUCKING TERRIBLE. No kidding, there's literally not a single thing about that show worth watching. Beast is obnoxious, a terrible actor and just all around not the "show saving character" he was built up to be. He likes Mayo on everything HAHAHAHAHA stupid. (plus he's just... something about him makes him repulsive to look at, not to sound so horribly inhumanly cruel. He's not unattractive per-se, just I can't stand to look at him. Maybe it' how they dressed him) I'm sure the creator's thougth they were making this WONDERFULLY quirky character, but really he's just trying way the hell too hard. Literally every character in this show is insufferable, either because they're a terrible actor or terribly written. (usually both) The fights are bland, the music is dull as dishwater, the suits... eh, Wizard flame is alright and Beast is okay, but literally every variation of either just stinks. And the Beast Driver is just silly. It's HUGE and just hangs open, plus it sounds even worse than the Wizard Driver. The plot is meandering nonsense when it's not cripplingly simple and the villains are utter rubbish. Wow Medusa, you're seriously busting the Moth guy's chops for not killing Wizard instantly? Funny, because Mothman managed to poison him, you managed to LEAVE HIM ALONE WHEN HE WAS AT HIS WEAKEST. Lately I've been watching Ryuki, a bit of OOO, some of W with a friend and one of the Den-O movies. This all REALLY puts Wizard in perspective. There's literally nothing saving that show, and I'm surprised I didn't realise it earlier. I think the only reason I ever watched it period was because I wanted a new Rider series that was fresh and original instead of watching and old one I already knew about. Can't wait for Gaimu. |

I found Beast to be a breath of fresh air because he brought energy with him. Admittedly, Haruto's actor does learn the difference between acting stoic and being just plain boring, making him much more tolerable to watch (But this is late 20's-early 30's territory, so I wouldn't force you to watch to that point), but during the early episodes, he seemed uninterested, which made Beast's intrusions and activeness a nice change of pace.
I hated the mayo gag, and it's downplayed after, like, 8 episodes, btw.

I think the only reason I ever watched it period was because I wanted a new Rider series that was fresh and original instead of watching and old one I already knew about. Can't wait for Gaimu. It feels like they were forced to add a secondary Rider but didn't want to, so they instead just chose this guy to stand around in the background for like thirty episodes. It's a real shame as well because the way Beast's powers work and his backstory should make for an extremely interesting Rider but Beast is just another bit of scenery dressing like 90% of the cast in this show. Kuuga may have had a lot of problems but at least they gave everyone something to do. I still stand by my love for Haruto, even if I too admit his upgrade forms kinda suck and I still really enjoy the action sequences. I also didn't know how much I cared about Phoenix until he was gone, Gremlin is pretty awesome though. Really my biggest problem with the Phantom's is the costumes, personalities and gimmicks they give to the human forms are usually far more interesting than what they give to the Phantom side and that is just bad. Still I like it more than what I've seen of W and Den-O overall, although I think OOO has pushed ahead from it for having such strong central characters - minus Ankh. OOO 37, dunno whether it is a bromance between Date and Brotou or a romance ![]() ![]() Also wouldn't he have a scar on the back of his head from where the bullet went in? Also dat scene where Mezul rubbed Maki's cheek what the fuuuuuuck ![]()
