i was surfing the web looking up information about Kamen Rider Black (im really digging the series) when i came across this image on a japanese message board: it obviously resembles Shadow Moon, and i know he shows up in Black RX looking the same as he did in Black (albeit with 2 swords in place of the Satan Sabre). is this an unused concept for how he was intended to appear in that series? i only say that because his Moonstone is split in two like Black RX's Kingstone. Nothing i can think of makes sense seeing as how this exists and was obviously photographed for a promo of some sort. what do you think fellas? |

I don't recognize it, but it looks a lot like someone took the Crisis ship and made it into a monster suit. Maybe something from Super Hero Taisen? I know the Crisis ship has shown up prominently in some of the promos.

That looks pretty damn awesome! He looks like a hyper mode Shadow Moon. Never seen before though.

Desgaron/Death Garon. A monster of the week from Black RX. Don't know if the design was intended to originally be a powered up Shadowmoon, but he certainly looks like he was at least designed with Shadowmoon in mind.

Ha! that makes sense. its a real shame that RX isn't readily available subbed, the monster designs carry that awesome 80's aesthetic. how on earth did you know/find this out, Shadow? Is there some resource out there or just clever research? also, Switch whats a Crisis Ship? Google didn't help me at all! |

Well I've watched RX thanks to some old badly subbed bootleg DVDs that were readily available a few years back, plus I've collected a few Kamen Rider books.

				 | Quote: And now that I know who this is, I was able to look him up here: http://www.kamen-rider.com/database/...mansenshi1.htm Apparently he was the kaijin from the first RoboRider episode. No connection to Shadow Moon, just one of the normal robotic enemies. Last edited by Switchblade; 04-10-2012 at 10:35 PM.. |

Odd. Someone was looking at Shadow Moon when they threw this guy together. To be a monster of the week baddie the resemblance is just so strange.

Am I the only one who totally doesn't see the Shadow Moon thing? Yeah, it's silver and black with green eyes, but I don't really see anything else about it that screams Nobuhiko.

Well the split moonstone belt really helps give it away. It makes you wonder if he underwent the same things that Black did which resulted in him becoming RX.
