Talking about disappointing articulation, in a similar fashion to Tommy, Juzo has to hold his sword at a really weird angle or he can't hold it at all. I know he doesn't have an iconic pose like Tommy and they should be getting that spot on, but it's still annoying that Juzo can only hold his sword awkwardly out to the side...you know like how he never stood on the show...oh.

I gather that Figuarts have come a long way and that is great but when you get figures as poorly made as Flame Style or figures that are known for not having the ability to get in their signature pose or known for weak joints or whatever you just wanna say 'sort it out'. I only buy Figuarts as it's the only way most of the time to get figures of my favourite heroes. But I've honestly not had the best experience with most of the figures, when I consider the price and their fanbases review of them.

It's annoying as well because everyone is sucking Figuarts dick and you pay like three times the price than you would for a normal action figure and yet they still have so many problems.

With the exception of web exclusives (in which case its additional fees that make up the cost), no way do Figuarts cost three times the price of a standard action figure.

At cheapest a Figuart is around 20 quid but that can range from there up to about forty quid and beyond. Your standard figures in shops, or like Neca toys or Marvel Legends or what have you range from about a fiver to at most fifteen quid. And although there are some like 20 - 25 pound figures of like super articulated marvel heroes you can find them for like a fiver on eBay. They are the some of the few things on eBay that get marked down rather than ridiculously marked up.

Figuarts are really overhyped. So far the only ones touted as perfect and actually live up to that claim are the Ryuki ones.

I love my Gokaiger Figuarts. My OOO ones don't have all the problems that others seem to have. It's all up to opinion, design and quality control that make the Figuarts what they are to people.

Any other cost comes from middleman fees, a mark up from stores simply because they're old or an "exclusive" or simply because sellers on ebay think they cost more because they're Japanese. If you pay "three times the price of an average action figure" that's because you CHOSE to pay that much. It isn't what these things retail for.

Exactly. The cost of Figuarts varies from place to place, but there are places that bump up the price or lower it from its original retail value. Plus you could always resell it.
