Yeah, I got this info from another forum. I'm a bit disappointed about it when I heard that Akibaranger, but since it is an experimental series I think Toei probably didn't want a long-term committment. Perhaps they could give it extension if it exceeds expectation, but there is no precedence for a series like Akibaranger so your guess is as good as mine.

Akibaranger is the kind of show I could imagine getting multiple seasons spaced out, so I guess time will tell how long it lasts.

BTW, Toei has had the recurring trend of casting AV Idols into Super Sentai and Kamen Rider for decades. The earliest I've known was Zonnette from Gekisou Sentai Carranger.
