I used to wonder the same thing. I guess American companies just felt like children's shows needed to be very simple and watered down. Slap stick and silly sidekicks. I never liked Alpha as a kid for example. Just seemed pointless..

Stuff like Alpha I get. You know, appeal to as wide an audience as possible. At least he looks kinda cool and retro. It's literally the UGLY sidekicks that baffle me. Sidekicks that are visually revolting.

I will admit that I don't always think of how things appeal to a wide audience. Meh, the whole Alpha/Zordon thing was always odd to me. It seemed like they just took the venerable elder/leader and split him in half. I guess.

Yeah.. Snarf was pretty odd. I know if I was a Thundercat I would be like "What are you? Dinner?". lol.

Paid for Red and Green this morning, came to about forty quid for both and that includes postage so I was really impressed, I was expecting to have to end paying closer to sixty.
