Could you please, for the sake of everyone here, stop EXAGGERATING Web Exclusive prices. They are not twice the price of anything. If anything the Web exclusive Zyuranger are about $5-10 more expensive at their retail price than the standard releases. That's it. And unless you just can't figure out how to use a middleman service they are very easy to get. So please be realistic and stop sensationalizing how "difficult" it is to get a web exclusive.

That's only true for SOME figures depending on the popularity of the character, you can often find Web Exclusive figuarts for LESS the initial pre order price…

Not all web exclusives on Mandrake will cost as much as Gavan or Gai...

I'd be this blunt with anyone who said something so unsubstantiated. It's just simple math that Web Exclusives are not twice the price of normal figures if you use the available channels to purchase them. Yes if you wait months on end to finally get a TWE the price will probably go up. But if you get with a middleman ahead of time or buy them at time of release you won't be paying double price at all.

So...Why not just point him in the direction of a middleman who doesn't charge much or tack on arbitrary fees and end the argument at that rather than trade blows?

Really? Because I don't remember Gavan being anywhere near 10,000Y, and that seems to be what he is on Mandarake. You say I am exaggerating, and sometimes I am, but does it really matter?
