Well Yygdrasill is the tree of life, the world tree, in norse mythology. With roots and branches in all the 9 realms. So it could stand to reason that it's fruit because their powers are born from the tree. Literally it bears the fruit of power, even those fruits which wouldn't normally grow from a tree. It's a magic tree so, yeah.

I'd say Yygdrasill Corporation is using some sort of magic/mythic tree thing to create rider powers and use them as weapons.

Well, at least the pineapple LOOKS like a pineapple. But it also makes it my least favourite form since it's just a pineapple over his body. Not quite as creative as the rest.

Also he can summon his bikes with locks. That's pretty neat.

Also I doubt there's an actual tree, so it's more symbolic than literal.
