Customs and imports and what have ya, basically they start at like I think it's eight quid then add on whatever the fuck they like. It's why I eventually gave up on trying to own band merch from any big bands, because the tshirts price would always end up doubled by the time the post office were done with it.

My Verde came in today. Beautiful figure if a tad minimalistic. The headsculpt is gorgeous and the Metallic green paint really gives the figure a premium feel.

Unfortunately its not all good. I had hoped he would come with a stand considering how little he had. He doesn't...which sucks since I have stands for almost all my Ryuki Riders except Taiga....and now Verde joins the rank of the Standless.

Another annoyance though it might be just a case on mine. Verde comes with a Yo-Yo weapon accessory that is attached to hands with a peg to simulate being thrown or...yo-yo'ed. The problem lies with the thin bendy wire that is supposed to simulate the "string" of the Yo-yo. It feels fragile, maybe a little too thin to bend into Sine wave like shapes or having Verde Walk the Dog or Rock the Baby (I'm from the Pro-Yo II generation). I decided after a couple of tries I'd just use the Yo-yo piece sans string in my display. Its not a major bummer but I would have thought that Bandai could have just included solid string attachment pieces like Sine wave or Shoot the Moon type shapes. The lack of a stand hurts too.

You guys will probably be more jealous of my Dragonzord. It's only missing the tail stand and the shield for the Green Ranger figure. But the Dragon Zord itself was like new, except for a bit of sticker wear. Paid 80$ for it.

My two cases and starter deck of Power Rangers ACG Series 3 "Universe of Hope" arrived today.

Ended up getting at least 1 of every card in the set except Lord Zedd, so I just thought "Frack it" and bought him on eBay for $18. Sure as hell beats buying more packs, so now I have nearly every ACG card.
