I'm sure Deboss will change into something more powerful/streamlined as the series goes on.

They said that his current form is the one he took when Dinosaurs still roamed the Earth, so chances are he'll be "defeated" next episode only to return and evolve into a bigger threat.

Yes indeedy. There's no way Deboss is going to be H&R Puffinstuff forever.

Maybe some sort of death clock or a fossil like chimera.

Watched the episode this morning. Thoughts include:
Yayoi is some creepy stalker. Seriously.
If Torin invented Utchi's gear, how come it still sounds like Dr. Ulshade?
Deboss's suit looks worse than Barney the Dinosaurs. Kinda like a weird Hydreigon
Damn it guys, why do you wait to use Pteragoldon? You have 8 mechs, and you decide to use 3 to take down the ultimate boss? Really?

Also, I guess this episode is one in the eye for Utchi x Amy shippers. I gave it a good. I liked it, but I thought it could be better, and it didn't have any violet in it, after giving us all his awesomeness last time

I wanted to say "modifications", but that doesn't really work either given Utchy was missing/presumed dead for years.
