You know that empty feeling you get after a good long RPG because of how good and engaging the story was? Well, this is similar but not quite as fantastic.

I've been playing Pokemon since Gen 1 and this is the first time I've completed my PokeDex, bred and raised good IV Pokemon, created a competitive team for Wi-Fi battles, actively traded on GTS...And yet the simplicity of the game is still there. I look forward to the next Gen eargerly now that I have an almost full roster of Pokemon to port over and battle out in 3D.

I haven't played a Pokemon game since 2010 so I don't know whether to skip to Gen 6 or not.

What is good about Pokemon in recent years is that you don't necessarily need to port over Pokemon from your old game carts to get back your fave party from Red or Ruby. Things like Outbreaks helps narrow down lots of Pokemon from other gens and there is always a promotion for older legendaries like the shiny Dialga/Palkia/Giratina promotion. I got my hands on a Deoxys less 2 months ago and a friend perm traded me a spare Jirachi he got from his SoulSilver playthrough.

Best part of the worldwide October release is that you wont get the GTS clogged up by false trades (guys trying to PokeClone) or unreasonable demands like a Lvl 90 Reshirem for a Lotad. I'm actually looking forward to the GTS this time round.

I'm watching an episode of the anime where it's probably the only time i see Ash fauning over a girl.

I'm just going to assume that the only reason that never happens again is because compared to her every other girl in the Pokemon universe just seem bland in Ash's eyes.

Are you talking about the one with the Pokemon boarding school?

Oh, and except for Red/Blue going into Gold/Silver and Black/White going into Black 2/White 2, no other Pokemon games are directly connected, so you don't have to play every generation.

wells there some poke fact that make certain Gen happen at the same time as the old gen the event of hoenn happen at the same time as the event of kanto due to the remakes of red and green and this leads on to gold silver to due hits and event mentionings as well due to sinnoh took place the same time gold and silver did well heart gold and soul silver. pre-remakes yes

And Jasmine shows up in the Sinnoh region.

However, R/B->G/S and B/W->B2/W2 are the only games that are direct sequels that require the player to play the previous game to fully understand the narrative, which is what I was getting at.

Ah yes true due to every thing in black and white are almost like 1 until you don't battle black and white one protagonist black I shall call him in 2 oh and you battle a hole new set if 8 gyms just 2 changed gyms

The Unova episodes are pretty boring, aside from a few good ones. When even bringing Charizard back can't save a season, you know its not good. The writers tried too hard to mimic Kanto with making Iris/Cilan the "new" Misty/Brock, and Ash becoming worst than he was in Hoenn/Sinnoh was a mistake.

Granted Brock became a terrible character overtime, so getting rid of him finally was good regardless.

The writers quite literally ran Misty/Brock's characters into the ground and then finally axed them after what little personality they had left.
