Please—the dinosaurs didn't go extinct. They obviously slaughtered a few plesiosaurs, modified their carcasses into rocket ships, and left Earth. One day we shall witness their terrible return.

No. It was a time traveling robot who took a meteor from the present, which was about to hit earth, and put it billions of years into the past, and allowed it to hit the earth in the past, killing all the dinosaurs.
