IMO the knock off looks pretty good for the price. I was seriously considering getting one before I went nuts and found paperwork-less Jet Icarus & Garuda on YAJ.

Yep it was in a giant box in combined jet mode. It's still a pretty good knock off though.

Sadly, one of the figure boxes was damaged. Anyways, I finally got some of the figmas I've been wanting.

Now to find an affordable Kos-Mos.

How much did that Roger Smith cost you? I'm just curious as there was a guy selling it at AX for $110.

Gotta love con pricing. Roger was ¥3500 from Mandarake. The box had some minor wear, but nothing to write home about. I actually splurged and had them shipped DHL since it was from the Nakano store. In the end, it turned out to be around ¥4300 with it's share of the shipping. $43.75 using today's conversion rate. Sorry for being long winded.

Mandarake pricing is the great destroyer of Western "because it is imported it must be rare!" markups.
Now only if I could get items from Yahoo Auctions Japan without middleman costs and paying double shipping. There are some insane deals to be had there.

And hving just gotten Aile Strike myself, I really need to start hunting down that set (as well as Buster Gundam). Though I do wish it had come witha sky grasper or a phase shift down Strike or something to make it more worth the price.

Yeah, a Sky Striker would have been nice. I use the MSIA one as a stand in. Buster is pretty nice. I think HLJ has them for $30 right now but I got mine on sale for Black Friday at 20-something. They had Striker Daggers at $15 then and I should have bought more than one.

You mean it was actually in the show? I haven't seen Seed in a while but I don't remember it. I thought the Sword Striker Pack had just one sword. I mean, the thing is bigger than the suit itself so it wouldn't even attach.

Oh, it's a completely seperate sword? I didn't know it came with more than one. That's amazeballs. I'm with enerprime then, forced perspective to recreate the eyecatch sword all the way.
