SO i only just played Playstation allstars recently And the game mechanic is for those who don't know is: There's no 'damage' done in the game. You hit you opponent and you have a meter that fills. Once you meter fills to level 1, 2, or 3. You can do a finisher move which kills anyone the finishers hits. This seems like a prefect kind of set up for a Kamen Rider or other senti style game. Fight till you use your finisher. Maybe the side scrolling mass fighter isn't the best for a Senti style game. Maybe more of a third person open area arena like Power Stone. And maybe with some mook/minion characters who do have HP but go down in one or two shots. What you guys think? |

I think something like SSB or PSAS would be good for Rider, but there's a problem. THERE ARE ALREADY A MILLION AND A HALF RIDER FIGHTING GAMES

A chaotic and incredibly fast paced game like Smash wouldn't fit it in the slightest. Adding that many other games trying to ape Smash's style have turned out bad (TMNT Smash Up, DreamMix) or just received no attention at all (Battle Stadium DON, PS All Stars), and you're just begging for failure (Note why no other game but Smash uses the Arena KO for the primary win). A 2D fighter lets characters use their forms, powers, and gimmicks in a controlled environment while not worrying about a million different other things.

Just recycle the old MMPR Fighting Game and Gundam game engine for Kamen Rider. And as for Sentai, SSB may work for them.

				 | Quote: And Sentai should never have a fighting game beyond a Mecha/Zord combat game. It worked during MMPR days because there were only 7 rangers...

Battride War had a finisher-dependent condition when you were fighting big enemies/Dark Riders--you couldn't take them out unless you did your finisher.

Just because I don't agree with the idea doesn't mean it's bad.
