So, one of my friends said that, because it's impossible to escape the show, he'd be willing to give it a chance. Once I told him it's currently as 65 episodes, a movie, and a 26 episode long 4th season coming up, he then said that he wanted me to get back to him with the "Important" episodes to watch, so I think I just figured it out.

It's from 28-37 episodes long, because some episodes I was unsure whether or not they were significant (They're marked with a question mark). Am I missing any "Important" episodes? I put mini descriptions for what made the episodes important, but I won't include the descriptions when I give him the list.
Also, I decided that the Gala mini-arc was too self contained and had no bearing on the series beyond those 3 episodes.

I think it's easier to get a sense if you listed those that you omitted, because that list looks quite complete at a quick glance.

I like to be thorough.
The only episodes that were on the list that I omitted were Ticket Master (Part 1 of the Gala arc), Applebuck Season (Established AJ's former stubbornness), Best Night Ever (Part 3 of the Gala arc), and Sisterhooves Social (Because I couldn't justify it )
