I want to see more of Kabuto than just him pointing his finger to the sky. It's like that's all Toei remembers he did.
"Didn't we have that one guy who could slow down time?" "You mean OOO Super TaToBa?" "Yeah. That's the one."

Then again it has been proved time and time again that clock-up is overpowered so yeah, as fun as it would be to see Tendou beat the crap out of everyone in less than a second, Toei probably wouldn't allow it. |

I think it's the fact that I wound up watching Kamen Rider series in reverse helped a lot to keep me from hating Decade. OOO, W and Kiva were amazing in my opinion, but Decade helped me to understand more about the other Riders I hadn't watched. So to have him in Wizard not only makes me excited, but it keeps a whole set of story continuity alive that the character is actually doing what he intended to do. Plus, it kind of gives us a MUCH better celebration than OOO did for the 1000th episode anniversary.

Decade was actually the first series I watched from start to finish.
While I attempted to get into Kiva and Faiz prior, I was stopped due to either boredom (Faiz) or more boredom (Kiva). I actively enjoyed Decade because it was bright, it was flashy, and it was a new experience. Only through watching Double as it aired, in addition to watching Ryuki and finishing Kiva after the fact did I see how much Decade got wrong. It wasn't until my viewing of Kabuto did I see Decade's greatest failings. It was too afraid to show Tsukasa as anything but "In control." Seeing the "Perfect character" Tendou, I saw the similarities between the two, and I saw how they missed the point in developing Tsukasa. They were so concerned with showing off how "Cool" Tsukasa was, they forgot what made Tendou endearing to begin with wasn't his power, his attitude, or his skills. It was his interactions with Kagami. Kabuto worked because of Kagami, and Decade tried to emulate that with Yusuke, but then decided to give up with the introduction of Diend and, from that point, decided bright and flashy fights and making Tsukasa look cool were more important. Monsters who were the ultimate challenge faced in the past series were cannon fodder in Decade to show off how cool he was. Characters who could curb stomp the main riders of the past were taken out en masse to show how strong Decade was. It became less about the story of Tsukasa, his amnesia, and whether he's the world destroyer he's told he is, and more about aggrandizing him. Add in an unsympathetic and mean-spirited character being portrayed by an actor who can't pull off "Aloof" and you have the formula for why I despise Decade, despite once enjoying him.

Joe Adagiri may not hate Kamen Rider as much as once thought, but he doesn't really have a desire to ever do it again. Some of the actors do voice roles for video games like Agito's actor or the Ryuki guys. But the physical aspect of being these characters again doesn't always appeal to every one. You can't just blame Toei for stuff like this, it's unrealistic to expect every person to reprise their role every time.

You must really not get how bringing previous actors back goes. These people do have lives and careers outside of their single season of Kamen Rider they worked on. Is Toei cheap and not always willing to bring past actors back? Sure. But just as often the actors can't come back or won't. Actors like Masahiro Inoue, Masaki Suda, Renn Kiriyama, Kenji Ohba, Shu Watanabe, Hiroshi Fujioka, and others return because they love being a part of their franchises and are always willing to do more. Not everyone is like that nor can Toei always afford to bring them back.

True enough, my bad. But seeing them do iconic attacks and stuff without their voice over kind of sucks too. I'd rather they don't get too involved and just silently do everything they'd normally do without getting carried away. Kabuto's rider kick rocks, but I like hearing Tendou say Rider Kick too when it happens. I guess knowing they can't always get the actors back I'm fine with them doing basic stuff.

I know his actor retired, and I know it's a pipe dream to get him back. I want to see more of Kabuto. Plain and simple. He's been a non-character for ages. I want more than just "Have him point to the sky and cut to the next rider" like they've been doing. Hell, Kabuto wasn't even the main character for his tribute episode in Decade. (Spoiler'd because we have a couple members watching Decade).
