I don't know how Dream World is like now, but last time it wasn't really exciting. Very few rewards to be gained, and Pokémon that you want to get are seldom there. Plus the customizing options for your house are very limited compared to similar games.

It is a promising system, however, and with some work it could be a really fun part of the game.

I could never use Dream World consistently. You have to put in tons of work to get areas with any Pokemon worth owning, but that's made practically impossible because of the multiple limits implemented, if it's not constantly crashing and freezing, or if the site is even up.

My thinking is that you don't need two starters on your team. In fact, I think I wouldn't want two starters on my team. I want to explore Kalos' Pokémon, so nice as the Kanto starters are, they can wait.

Yup, in all likelihood the team you started out with might not be the team you end up with. That's okay, it's about exploring possibilities and having fun!

I can identify with that. When I first saw Sigilyph I was like WHOA WHAT IS THAT COOL THING? Next thing I know, it's my resident Flying type.

Same thing happened with me. I was wanting one because I liked it's design. Next thing I know, it's a staple on my team
