Kamen Rider 555 Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Blu-Ray Release

Toei dips into the archives for the latest Kamen Rider Blu-Ray sets, making Kamen Rider 555 the oldest Hesei-era Rider to get a high-definition home video release!

A press release confirms that the first volume will come out January 14th, 2014 and include a round-table retrospective with the cast members!

Price details have not yet been confirmed.

Considering how Faiz is viewed around here I'm not sure how many people would be interested in this... Oh well, I'm sure there are at least a few Faiz fans out there.

When I first saw this, I interpreted it as some sorta reunion special, like the Hurricaneger thingy.
But it's just Blu-Rays... Meh.

Was it really shot in HD or film? Or is it just an upscale to Blu?

Probably a remasterd upscale. However, remember, BDs have the same region code as the US, so there is no longer a need for a separate player (which is the main reason why I wouldn't mine buying Blade, Ryuki, Black, and all of the Sentai series I own over again.
