I just saw this posted on Facebook- Robot Damashii Gundam Airmaster Burst! Yes!! I might have to buy an extra G Falcon now from Nippon-Yasan.

Those bastards, now I'm definitely happy about preordering that g falcon. Hopefully Leopard destroy isn't too far behind, maybe virsago and ashtaron too.

I'm really torn. Do I buy one G-Falcon, or multiples? I really prefer Gundam's in base mode in situations like this, but at the same time how cool would it look to have all three After War X Gundams displayed with G-Falcons? I think if they're making Airmaster Buster then Leopard Destroy isn't far out. I expect this means that that outside of the three mid season upgrades, the rest of the Gundam's are probably going to be Web Exclusives ala Gundam Wing. Heh.

It's nice to see X finally get some attention. It does seem to be following Wing's release model. If that's the case, My wallet is in for a world of hurt. I prefer vanilla Leopard over destroy, same for Airmaster. Love all of the designs though. Even goofy Ashtaron Hermit Crab.
I nestly think that I only need the one G-Falcon, maybe pair it with Double X since that's what I'm used to, however I'm going to have to try out all of the various combinations (if the suits are also released). |

It's great to see X getting the love. Can't wait to see the grunt suits happen. Ashtaron and Virsago will also be really cool to see.

I agree blastmonkey, I also prefer the base models for After War X Gundams. The upgrades are nice, and excellent looking so far in RS, but I'd rather see the base models. I'm sure it will follow Wing's release model, it seems that way so far anyway. I would love to see them get to the grunt suits and especially Ashtaron and Virsago.
I'm still holding out hope for G Gundam. I see G Gundam, Gundam Wing, and After War X as a group. I've been collecting the Seed releases as well, and got the RS Blitz Gundam recently. I'm not sure if I'll pick up the Seed Destiny stuff (not sure I'm sold on the old RS Destiny Gundam release). Can you tell I love "Sentai" Gundam? lol. |

I remember my excitement when they started doing new HG G Gundam kits. The modern kits are easily the best versions yet, but Bandai stopped doing them. I can only think of how impressive God Gundam would look in the Robot Spirits line. Though it seems like around the same time that Bandai lost interest in the HG kits they lost interested the SHF G Gundam figures. I'm hopeful that the success of Wing and After War X will help bring back G Gundam. If anything just a few more HG kits so we can get Maxter, Rose, etc.

Wow, it's been 20 years already, crazy! lol. Personally, I think one reason Domon didn't do well is because they released that Gundam Fighter version. They should have went with his casual outfit, which looks way cooler. For the time it's a pretty good looking figure though, it could be better, but it's solid. I've held off picking him up because honestly I just can't think of a good way to really display him like that. I would want a stage that looked like the Gundam cockpit. I still think they should release Master Asia though, and release a casual Domon as well.
