I picked the game up this morning and haven't stopped playing since.

Since I got both x and y gamestop gave me a timeline poster that I laminated to my desk!

So I've made a bit more progress. My Chespin has evolved...and looks ridiculous, I've met the evil team of this game and got a fossil. Still enjoying the game a lot, but my team are becoming ridiculously uneven.

Did the parfum palace thing last night, those grass areas outside are freaking huge!

My team so far is:
bunnelby (will probably drop soon, just want to see if there's a difference in its evolution if it's female)
Quilladin (love the derpy little guy)
Pancham (who did naff all when karate chopping a furfrou 3 levels lower than him =\)
Litleo
Fletchinder
Floette

Also think I might have to start paying attention to natures (maybe more in the post game though)

I have yet to really have a focused team on the game yet, as minus my Quilladin and Combusken I have yet to really meet Pokémon who are useful beyond a single specific situation.

Right now I have my Charmeleon in there who is... largely pretty useless, sadly. But he's one of the gen one starters, I need to keep him. The same was said for Pikachu, until I caught a Helioptile, who beat nostalgia by actually being a useful electric type. Then I have a Golett and a Tyrunt I've not really had a chance to use yet.

I've made some progress. my Fennekin evolved, and I finished the Matrix's house part.

My god, this game is incredible. I only have one badge and I already feel like I've done so much. Managed to snag a female Fennekin after only one soft reset too so I'm really happy about that

So far my team is (all level 25):
Pikachu
Braixen
Wartortle
Floette
Vivillon
Diggersby

Diggersby has mostly been hanging around because of pickup, but I'm on my way to revive my fossil and switch him out for Tyrunt

That's one of the things I've noticed. This game seems like it's huge and full of substance! By this time in Black and White I'd have gotten 3-4 badges already, and now it's just one.

Will switch out Vivillon probably, and going to add a Honedge.

Yeah I can't believe I've put in almost seven hours and only got a single badge, im pretty sure I had four badges by this point on white 2. The second gym has an awesome design by the way, and Hawlucha is probably the coolest Pokemon I've ever caught.
