I wonder if this was intentional,but the fruits sort of match the personality of the people using the belts.Oranges give you energy,and Banana's provide potassium,which promotes strength.

I think the reasons for the fruit were mentioned by Takebe in an interview. They just did a poll which fruits are most popular. Thats why Gaim is an orange because apparently japanese kids really really like oranges.

Oranges are the best fruits.

I notice that my personal taste in fruit is in the descending order of riders. I love oranges, like bananas, tolerate grapes, am iffy on melons, etc.

I just slice my oranges into two pieces and eat the fruit by turning it inside-out.
