I haven't been watching The Simpsons in YEARS but it's always painful to hear that a actor or actress you grew up watching has died.

I disagreed with most of Matt's views on the show but I will say that retiring the character of Mrs. Krapbopple was a wise decision. RIP Marcia Wallace. You shall be missed.

Thats what bothered me too about the two parter. It gets even worse cause the lion turtle at the end of the original series said that humans used to bend energy rather than elements.

RIP. At least they're retiring the character. No-one else would ever get the voice right, and it would be an insult to Maria Wallace's memory.
